Some oil loading ​operations have been ⁠suspended within the United Arab Emirates’ Fujairah emirate, a ‌main bunkering hub, two business ‌sources stated, after a ‌hearth ⁠broke out ⁠there on Saturday (March 14, 2026).

The hearth occurred after particles fell ​in the course of the ‌interception of a drone, however no accidents had been reported, the emirate’s ‌media workplace stated.

Civil defence ​forces are dealing with the incident to ⁠include the hearth, it added.

Authorities didn’t present ‌any details about the reported suspension of operations.

Bloomberg Information earlier reported that some oil-loading operations in ‌the port of Fujairah, ​exterior the Strait of Hormuz, had been ⁠suspended after a drone ⁠assault and hearth.
