Israel says killed two high Iran intelligence officers in Tehran

The Israeli Army mentioned on Saturday (March 14, 2026) it had killed two senior Iranian intelligence officers in a strike in Tehran, simply days after they changed the previous head of the directorate who was assassinated on February 28.

Israel mentioned the 2 males, recognized as Abdollah Jalali-Nasab and Amir Shariat, have been senior officers within the intelligence directorate of the Khatam al-Anbiya, the Iranian Army’s central operations command.

The pair have been killed on Friday (March 13, 2026), the Israeli Army mentioned.

They’d changed Saleh Asadi, who served as head of the intelligence division on the Khatam al-Anbiya, after he was killed on the primary day of the warfare, the Army mentioned.

“Following the elimination of the top of the Intelligence Directorate, Saleh Asadi, through the opening blow of Operation Roaring Lion, Jalali and Shariat have been appointed to switch them,” the Army mentioned.

“Each have been near the management of the Iranian terrorist regime,” it mentioned, including that the intelligence department of the Khatam al-Anbiya Emergency Command is chargeable for analysing intelligence.

“The intelligence is offered to senior officers in Iran’s safety system throughout frequent situational assessments, on the idea of which the warfare towards the State of Israel is carried out,” the Army added.

The Army says a number of high Iranian officers have been killed in an preliminary wave of strikes launched alongside the USA on February 28, together with Supreme Chief Ali Khamenei.
