Peace talks ​between the United ‌States, Russia and ​Ukraine ⁠are on pause amid the Iran warfare, ‌Izvestia reported on Thursday (March 19, 2026), ‌citing Russian ‌officers.

Izvestia ⁠mentioned the ⁠Kremlin had confirmed the pause and ​that the ‌Iran warfare might push Kyiv in direction of compromise.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov mentioned Russian Presidential Envoy Kirill Dmitriev would proceed engaged on funding and financial cooperation, however the trilateral talks had been on pause.

“Kirill ‌Dmitriev continues work. ​The trilateral group is ⁠on pause,” Peskov was ⁠quoted as saying by ‌Izvestia.
