 U.S. forces ‌launched a strike in opposition to ​a ⁠boat allegedly concerned in drug ‌smuggling within the japanese Pacific, ‌the ‌U.S. ⁠navy mentioned ⁠on Friday (March 20, 2026), killing two folks.

The Coast Guard ​mentioned ‌it was notified by U.S. Southern Command on ‌Thursday (March 19, 2026) that ​three folks had been reported ⁠in misery in Pacific waters. They ‌discovered two useless and one survivor.

The survivor and stays ‌had been transferred to ​the Costa Rican Coast Guard, ⁠a Coast Guard ⁠spokesperson mentioned.
