Iran’s army renewed threats on Sunday (March 22, 2026) in opposition to the area’s infrastructure after the U.S. President vowed to “obliterate” energy crops within the Islamic Republic if the Strait of Hormuz just isn’t swiftly reopened.

“Following earlier warnings, if Iran’s gasoline and power infrastructure is violated by the enemy, all power, data expertise and desalination infrastructure belonging to the U.S. and the regime within the area might be focused,” the Iranian army’s operational command Khatam Al-Anbiya stated in an announcement carried by Fars information company.
The assertion comes after Donald Trump gave Iran a 48-hour deadline to open the important route within the Gulf to delivery visitors after it was successfully closed in response to the West Asia struggle.
