Hours after Iranian International Minister Abbas Araghchi mentioned that the Strait of Hormuz is “fully open”, Indian ships stranded within the Persian Gulf began crusing out of the Strait.

The Hindu has been monitoring Indian-flagged vessels and ships certain for India within the Persian Gulf for the previous month. Most of those ships are crucial to India’s power wants and are carrying crude oil.
