Israel will launch two overseas activists taken off a Gaza-bound flotilla from detention on Saturday (Could 9, 2026) earlier than handing them to immigration authorities forward of their deportation, the rights group representing them acknowledged.
Saif Abu Keshek, a Spanish nationwide of Palestinian origin, and Brazilian Thiago Avila have been amongst dozens of activists aboard a flotilla intercepted by the Israeli Navy in worldwide waters off the coast of Greece on April 30.
