The USA has requested ​Israel to ⁠halt strikes on Iran’s vitality infrastructure, Axios reported on ‌Tuesday (March 10, 2026), citing three sources acquainted ‌with the matter.

Washington despatched ‌the ⁠message at a ⁠senior political stage and to Israel Defence Forces Chief of Employees ​Eyal Zamir, ‌Axios reported, citing an Israeli official.

The Trump administration cited three causes, ‌together with a purpose to ​cooperate with Iran’s oil sector after ⁠the struggle, based on the report. Different causes ‌included a worry that such strikes would hurt the Iranian public and set off huge Iranian retaliatory assaults ‌on vitality infrastructure throughout ​Gulf states, Axios reported.
