The 1,643-km Myanmar border runs alongside the States of Arunachal Pradesh (520 km), Nagaland (215 km), Manipur (398 km) and Mizoram (510 km).
On Tuesday, Union Residence Minister Amit Shah stated fencing work had been accomplished on 30 km of the border, which, he termed the basis reason for the ethnic violence in Manipur.
