China protests U.S. alert over safety guidelines change in Hong Kong

China’s high diplomat ‌in Hong Kong has met the ​senior U.S. diplomat in ⁠town to protest in opposition to a U.S. public alert over new safety guidelines ‌in Hong Kong, the Chinese language Overseas Ministry mentioned.
