A passenger bus carrying Indian pilgrims veered off the highway and plunged down a slope in central Nepal, killing seven individuals and injuring as many others, police mentioned.
The incident befell in Nepal’s Gandaki province on Saturday (March 14, 2026).
A microbus carrying pilgrims was coming back from Manakamana Temple when it plunged off the highway in Gorkha District, in keeping with the police.
Suraj Aryal, chief of the District Site visitors Police Workplace, Gorkha district, mentioned that the deceased included two ladies and 5 males, all Indian nationals who had travelled to Manakamana for worship.
