China is making ‘full evaluation’ of U.S. Supreme Courtroom tariff ruling, says Commerce Ministry

China is ​making a “full evaluation” of ‌the U.S. Supreme ​Courtroom’s tariff ⁠ruling and urged Washington to elevate “related unilateral ‌tariff measures” on its buying and selling ‌companions, the Chinese language ‌Commerce Ministry mentioned ⁠in a press release on Monday (February 23, 2026).

“U.S. unilateral tariffs… ​violate worldwide ‌commerce guidelines and U.S. home regulation, and aren’t ‌within the pursuits ​of any occasion,” the Chinese language ⁠ministry added.

The ministry mentioned it observed ‌the U.S. deliberate to take care of tariffs on buying and selling companions via different means ‌together with commerce investigations. “China will ​proceed to pay shut consideration to ⁠this and firmly safeguard ⁠its pursuits,” the Ministry mentioned.
