The U.S.-Israeli battle on Iran has threatened Gulf ports and disrupted world commerce by the Strait of Hormuz, by which roughly a fifth of the world’s oil and liquefied pure fuel usually passes. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have warned that any ship passing by the slender Strait can be focused.
